Media credentials are REQUIRED for anyone taking professional photos or videos at the Battle of Atlanta. This includes anyone independently hired by a third party to professionally photograph or capture competitor performances at the Battle of Atlanta. All black belt competitors who compete in the 2025 Battle Zone Championship Night Show are required to use copyright-free and royalty-free music. This requirement ensures competitors' performances can be distributed and broadcasted utilizing various international, national, and local media services or streaming platforms. 

IMPORTANT - COMPETITOR MUSIC AT THE BATTLE ZONE NIGHT SHOW

Our BOA production team will handle all music on-site. Competitors should bring to the Battle Zone Night Show a digital copy of their royalty-free music stored on a digital music device or phone (iPhone, Android). Competitors will designate someone to take their music to the sound booth (located in the back of the Grand Ballroom), and the designee will be given an auxiliary cord to plug into their device. The competitor's designee is responsible for plugging in the device and playing he competitor's music on cue. 

IMPORTANT NOTE

Currently, this requirement for copyright-free and royalty-free music from a licensed database is only for the Battle Zone Night Show. However, we are looking to possibly stream other divisions, runoffs, or grands that occur during the event. So, competitors should come prepared for that. We will communicate that information at a later time. 

OPTION 1 - RENAISSANCE WAVERLY HOTEL

At the tournament location, the Renaissance Atlanta Waverly Hotel & Convention Center, is now gating its parking. Here are the daily charges: 

Daily SELF parking rate ($15).

Overnight Guest SELF parking ($20). 

Overnight Guest VALET parking ($45).

Parking is VERY limited at the hotel and guests will command a great deal of the parking.

OPTION 2 - COBB GALLERIA CENTRE

Connected to the Waverly hotel is the Cobb Galleria Centre and they have a good deal of parking including a parking garage and the Waverly hotel is easily accessible from there. This is a great second option as its also close to the walking bridge over I-285 into the Battery at the Braves Stadium.

OPTION 3 - CUMBERLAND MALL & SHERATON HOTEL

Across US 41 (Cobb Parkway) is the Cumberland Mall. The Sheraton Hotel sits right in front of the Cumberland Mall. There is a pedestrian bridge that goes over Cobb Parkway and directly into the Cobb Galleria Centre. There is plenty of parking at the mall, so if you are coming from there or the Sheraton Hotel, accessing the event via the pedestrian bridge is another option.
